Silver Cup Chalk - the best of all????

Would I be considered unsportsmanlike if there is one piece of Silver Cup and one piece of Masters on a table and the Masters piece always seems to end up after my turn, not on a rail of the table, but next to where I’m sitting?

Not as though that’s ever actually happened…..

Before I was a C+ player I had figured out silver cup chalk blows. It might be one of the first things I figured out in pool.

Fatboy <——-not a chalk snob, just keeping it real
Damn. I was wondering where I was ranked. D ??!

7boy <--- cold, hard reality check

I'm puzzled. I'm a C- player that switched to T10 and still eat Wheaties. However I got a great deal on car insurance and have a cleaner table now. Coincidently my Silver Cup chalk is Silver. Does that "UP" it. Mine is for sale or will trade for a Revo 12.4 Uniloc. Seriously replies only.
I’m just a beginner trying to get better😃😃

Yes! 😂😂

You’re even…. Even worse than before
I went out and played last night. 2nd time on the last year. I played without contacts. I can’t read the numbers on the balls a foot away. I played with a house cue. I beat the 6B goast (I can’t spell it-but you understand) . Big pockets lol. It was horrible how I played. Fun tho. I hit a few balls pretty good.

It ain’t gambling when your stealing 😉

I’ve got robbed too, so it all equals out 😐

It comes back. Might not play as good as you’d like to but the love is there. The fun never ends. There is nothing I can do for hours and ready to go back for more. Maybe pinball as a kid but pool is the pot that calls the crab back. Has been a lifetime of good times and still going. It’s our world in a world.

Well said. I don’t expect to play good as I did at this point-for 2 reasons. Age & time. I can’t fight age, and I don’t want to play full time again.

I switched games years ago and I have something to improve at and am competitive.

However as you stated the love for pool has always been there. And I don’t want to let what I have go to waste. So I’m going to play again and enjoy.

Pool will always be #1 for me.

Fatboy<——ain’t going away

Pinball is great. I like mid 70’s to early 80’s machines the best

man!.. if I had a dollar for every time I had heard but pool is the pot that calls the crab back. I would be,, ahh, well, a dollar just doesn't buy what it use to

If im in a tavern and see silver cup...I chuck it right in the trash. Don't worry guys I'll leave behind a cube of triangle or masters blue....brown red and white colored chalk also gets chucked in the trash immediately

there's not much diff in SC and Master. If someone put a Master wrapper on SC i doubt most would know the difference. Mostly a mental thing. Btw there is a TourEdition SC now. Different blend.Never seen but heard it works fine. all you chalk snobs need to relax. Its chalk. ;)

I have an issue with chalk in cube form. The friction between the tip and the cube is outdated. Due to the friction there is unnecessary loss of chalk.

Has anyone else experimented with powdered chalk and using an appliance to apply it to the tip?

Silvercup chalk is great. If you haven't ordered a silvercup chalk applicator let me know, I have lots in stock.

Most players don't know how to chalk. Pool room owners can order applicators in batches and save money on chalk inventory.

What's wrong with this place??
I Knew silver cup was JUNK and could tell the difference by the age of 9.
Pretty big difference between masters and SC.

CHALK APPLIANCES??
FUCK ME DEAD!

The blue and white wrapper conjures up images of dim Valley tables sagging with dirty cloth, warped cues without tips and the smell of sour beer.

Finding a piece of Silver Cup not bored all the way through in this environment is rare indeed. And for approximately 62 cents a piece that’s remarkable. Where else can you get such mileage.
