Simonis #860 HR

Hr blue review.

We had hr blue installed on our 2 diamond tables in our bar. When brand new the cloth is a nice blue color. Within a month i think it has faded considerably. I do clean them 3 days a week. As far as burn marks and break patjs to the balls i am dissapointed in the marks. I dont think this cloth deters them in any way. The cloth is hr and its marked underside of the rails. I am a tried and true green cloth fan and in my opinion thr green never faded or discolored as fast as the blue. Speed wise is at first the balls slide more and it seemed faster. After 2 weeks it played like regulat simonis 860. Anlther pool room redid their tables the same time we did and i feel the same about their tables.
 
We currently have 860hr in blue, and green, as well as Granito Basalt, and have had Tour Edition as well. I clean the tables the same as you do-vacuum and then a lightly damp cloth- and have had no problems with the 860hr blue. The Tour Edition is the most durable, but stretches out with a damp cloth, and I personally don't like the way it plays. There are folks on AZ who's opinion I respect that swear the blue in 860hr plays a bit faster than the green in the 860hr. I won't say it doesn't, but I am not sure why. IMO, it depends on your customer's preferance. One thing's for sure, if they go play somewhere else for tournaments, etc., it will likely be on tour blue.
