Simonis 860 or 760?

I am about to recover my home table and I need some advice. I have a 9-foot Olhausen with Simonis 860 and it is time to replace the cloth. The table plays very well and is fairly fast. However, whenever I play on Simonis at a pool hall, its seems faster. I am guessing my 860 plays a little slower because of humidity and was leaning toward 760 to offset the humidity. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Most people are going to tell you to put 860 back on your table--and especially if the tables you play tournaments on use 860.

I took a different tact. I have 760 on my 8-foot Olhausen table. This cloth causes me to work on the delicate endof my game, and it turns out, plays an awful lot like the tournament tables I play on using 860 (with 50X the wear mine has.) At this point, the only real difference between the table I play on at home and out is that the cut of the pockets is correct on my home table (out, not so much).

I found it is a lot easier to add power to ones game on a slow rolling table, than it is to add delicacy to your game when you encounter a fast rolling table.

You can split the difference and have HR installed.

I'm also interested what cloth to choose. My favorite games are Banks and One Pocket, but I also play a lot of rotation and 8 Ball. Is Simonis 860 a good choice? Our pool hall have 860 on the tables.

of course its a good choice
there has to be a reason 860 seems to be the default cloth most of the time

I put 760 on mine because it plays slow and it was a good move. I don't think the difference between the 2 cloths is as dramatic as some make it out to be.

Depends on how humid it is where you're playing. I'm in NC and prefer 760. When I was living in Ohio I liked 860.
