Simonis stretch

I will buy the DVD when ever it comes out and if it is time for new cloth then so be it. If not then I will watch it and prepare for when it is. Like they say, "Good things come to those who wait". And I don't have a choice in this matter so a waiting I will be.

Hopefully have GC or Diamond by then though. I have no intentions of becoming a mechanic but I love learning about these things.

Glen, you and many other mechanics on here have been very beneficial to me and if anything know that your input has allowed me to have a decent table at home. It has also taught me the amount of respect you guys deserve. Everytime I see a poorly installed table it makes me mad and I am not even a mechanic.

Mr. Penguin...you gave me a RED rep for my comments on this thread??...LMAO how funny, nothing like taking a dump in the same place you eat:wink: be carful buddy:grin: you're not the only one that manufactures replacement bar table cushions:eek: as you'll soon find out!

I turned your reps from red to green, to give you a fresh start, but do please read more before you post, you'll learn a lot more that way:wink:

Glen, the Realkingcobra!
Mr. Penguin...this is the comment you gave me a RED rep for?...LOL

There is only 1 RealKingCobra!

My point is that if Glen was able to get through to all the mechanics that have not obtained any new skills over their time doing tables and can teach the RKC way of not only stretching cloth but how to make any table play to its full potential, I would vote for that.

How long will I have to wait for Glen to get back to my table or to work on tables/install Diamonds in Northern California? Wouldn't it be great if other mechanics had a "standard of excellence" that customers of all types could count on?

Glen you need to move fast and have some organization that mechanics can be certified under.

Good luck and best wishes to Glen and Fatboy!

Well I definitly can say that the mechanics that put simonis on my table where not to thrilled to put simonis on and they had to come out several times to restrech it , but the next time I get cloth on my table I'm definitly getting somebody that's know's how to properly install it .

I will be interested in seeing the DVD as well. Not a mechanic but always had an interest in all things that get put together. Pool tables being one at the top of my list.
RKC. Any chance you will make an announcement of AZ when the DVD gets released?

For sure buddy:D

Well I started my table today and I can honestly say that getting my rails half way decent with 860 has been more than a challenge compared to Velocity pro. I am not sure yet that I am satisfied so I am taking a break today.

By the way never buy a Steepleton table. I don't care if you can't afford a GC or Diamond your money will be wasted on a Steepleton. The rails are terrible.

Works for now and the 860 and new cushions will get me where I need to be until a new table ( basement remodel) is in the works.

Wish I had that DVD for these rails. I have battled with getting the corner pockets wrapped correctly.
