Simple Runde player in padauk

Recently picked this up locally from a guy selling it for a good price. It's really amazing the quality of simple cue you can pick up for the money. Padauk and birdseye with some nice rings, hoppe ring, and original micarta joint and ferrule on the shaft.

Just something about these Runde cues that I love!

The joint is good, it's a slightly different feel from my other but I like it a lot. Good firm hit. Playing with it reminds me why I like linen wraps though! Sweaty hands and wrapless just aren't a good match for me. Sadly it probably won't be my daily player for that reason alone....just gotta have my linen wrap. Otherwise I love playing with it though!

How's your new Runde treating you? I'm very jealous of that one!

Years ago I wanted cues with all the points, inlays & bling you could get in a cue. Lately, I've really developed an appreciation for well done, simple players. This looks very nice.
