Had a guy I respect give me some real simple advice afer he was watching me play for a while. All he said was: "I notice your shaft is doing a little wobble after you hit"... try tightening your bridge forefinger on the shaft."

I use a closed bride and damn... the advice has really helped. A higher percentage of my long shots are doing what they should!

Try it.

Small moves.

This is so true. Some times we get all wrapped up trying to fix too many things at once, that we lose focus on what the cause is. Often times it is a small adjustment that was overlooked. This is where a teacher can really earn his money and save you a lot of time and heartache.

Scott Lee and Randy G. address your specific problem in their DVD Volume 1.

Your solution does not address the actual problem.

Suggest you consider getting the DVD, I think it is a good deal at $30.

The tightening of my bridge did address my problem. I wasn't waggling with my stroke hand, my stroke is clean...it was as I said, loose at the bridge.

Seems like if a stroke is wobbling at the end then the stroke made it wobble and the loose bridge just allowed it to wobble. What's going to happen when an open bridge is called for? Answer: wobble.

None of my business and I don't mean to be a smart ass. Just my take on this.
