SOLD

Let me preface by saying the only reasons it is for sale is to fund my Mike Webb that is being built and the weight is lighter than I wanted which may be perfect for someone who likes a 19 oz cue.

Cue has extremely minimal play with one shaft having never been used. The other shaft has only been used 3 times as I have been using a Universal Smart Shaft. I also could not get used to the ivory ferrules. Love the hit but very different from what I am used to.

Specs are as follows:
Butt: Cocobolo with Ivory Hoppe ring
Wrap: Kangaroo leather ( my new favorite material )
Forearm: Curly maple with 4 cocobolo points
Veneers: Maple / Ebony / Maple / Cocobolo
Inlays: 1 Ivory spearhead per point
Joint : 5/16x14 SS
Shafts (2) Hard Rock Maple
Ferrules: Ivory
Tips: Hercules Medium

Weight: 19 oz
Length: 58.5"
Balance Point: 19" from buttend

Skips craftsmanship is extraordinary. My only options were to modify the cue to suit my needs or sell. I honestly don't want to alter this cue because I feel it would be perfect for someone else.

Price is $1500 firm and I will cover shipping within the CONUS.
Outside CONUS I will assume some of the costs.

Thanks for looking,
Koop

Hey Ken....let me know if you would like to hit a few balls with a Skip with ivory ferrules. The only difference between Koop's cue and mine is the joint material...but both with the same pin. My weighs in at exactly 19 oz, so you would be able to see how that weight feels. Just a thought if you are serious about Koop's cue. As you may remember, I am in the Mt Vernon/Burlington/Sedro Woolley area. Should you opt into the cue, I don't think you will be the least bit disappointed....Skip's cues are renowned for their consistent hits.....not to mention the craftsmanship, which is mind boggling.

Damn Koop!!! You have barely had time to bond with it!! I shall not admonish you further!;) Best of luck with your sale!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I truly am disappointed to sell it but I really don't want to mess around with the cue trying to get it to my liking. Just afraid to screw something up and I figure someone who likes the set up, as well as a 19oz cue, will love it as is.

Regards,
Koop

Koop.....you know I am just giving you a little bit of a hard time. I know that it has to be very difficult for you to come to the realization that this cue just isn't quite right for you. I'm truly sorry.

As most of you likely do not know....Koop and I placed our orders virtually on the same day with Skip, and we traveled our 'waiting' journey together, comparing notes, and build pics and progress. He was so very excited about the build of this cue, and I know just how incredibly disappointed he is to have to part with this beauty.

I know Lisa and yes, I thought long and hard about parting with it.

On a happier note, I'm very happy to know that you are so pleased with yours. It is definitely a beauty.
