Sky is the man

Is it just me, or did anyone else think SVB was partnered up with Jayson Shaw? Woodward and Shaw look like brothers.

I agree, he played great and made the tough shots when they counted.

4 1\4 they said

I have a modified gold crown 4 1/4" corners, and man when that cloth breaks in on the facing, anything not hit well, hangs in the pocket.
It's extremely frustrating, but great for drills and practice. As for playing, it's just stressful. Now add that with the lights and cameras of the Mosconi cup, and these guys are under some serious pressure.

Except Sky is going to be better than Shaw ever dreamed of

Sky played superbly today in the doubles match with Shane. Was real easy to get confused who the rookie and who the veteran was today.

Whatever it is preventing Shane form performing his best at the MC I hope he figures it out soon.

This team needs him and most of all he needs a good performance here to erase last year.

Sky knew it too-You see those little smiles sneaking out?

And that's about all you get out of this your man ,, he's got a reserved swagger with him but make no mistake he's a hit man behind all that ,, it's going to be great watching him grow over the next few yrs

I have been watching Sky ever since he snapped of that Bank Ring Game a couple of years ago. He is getting more consistent every day. It won't be to long before he will be in the top three a most of the Major Tournaments.

I agree the kid played real good in the doubles match but Shane performed poorly in
the subsequent singles match against Daz:eek:

I watched Sky yrs ago at the Expo nock of one of MDs top players off the only player I could compare him to was Morra in the demeanor department it was like a afternoon stroll in the park , was in Vegas a couple yrs latter trying to get Kirkwood on s big table Kirkwood wanted no part of it and Sky wouldn't play him on a barbox , I doubt Kirkwood would like that nowv
We know what Morra has done but I think Sky might be better , another one I'm looking for is Billy Thorpe I think he's got that it factor also fearless
Good to see these young guns rising to the top

The kid is the MVP. Calm, collected and he delivers!!! Keep it going kido!

Ya let's not get to carried away he has yet to be alone on the island , let's see how he does but Iv always said no one wants to lose to the kid so the pressure is not all in his court

At the very least, his body language is clearly the best out of the five Americans - which means a lot when he's also pocketing balls.

.
He was nervous in the beginning-was wiping his hands before giving high 5s because he was sweating. That ended after he hit 3-4 balls. I told him before last years Cup, he'd play this year
