I am a Skyler Woodard fan and view him as one of the better players in the U.S. and expect him to improve.

I watched him and Shane playing in the 2017 U.S. Open 10 ball and it was the worst I have seen from him. His shooting was definitely off and so was Shane's.

When Skyler scratched on the break and hit his cue on the table the ref said don't do that and when he missed an easy 9 Ball he hit the table again with his cue and raked the 9 ball and conceded to Shane.

I don't remember ever seeing him like that and I hope he does not head down that road.

He is such a good player and has tons of potential.

Well he is a human being and not a cyborg..there for he’s going to have bad days . He’s going to have moments where he loses to his emotions. That’s life. Every player goes through it . If they don’t then they are a robot.

The stream table was the toughest to play on. Some of the players were frustrated.

It's just like a bad day for us except it's how they eat .So I can see a rough match pissing them off.

I watched em allot over the event. He always seems to have a lull somewhere in a set with each opponent. He's not quite a Rempe yet but his play is often rock solid. I did tho see Thorpe play a flawless set, incredible shot maker. But J. Filler is a notch above these two.

What about YOU ? Guess you never miss a ball or have a bad day ! I bet you can't beat the 6 ball ghost 👻! I can tell that you have never been in the hot seat before . Like the guys at the local pool hall that hit balls but never gamble but like to talk about what the local champion missed and what he should've done ! 6 ball ghost 👻

Wowser!

Hey gypsy-soul. Please take note of my saying I am a big fan of Skyler's and wish him the best.

I don't think my comments were a beat down of him and I thought this forum was for civil discussions.

I don't want to be the kind of person that hides behind a computer and insults some one, so if I offended you or him I apologize.

Yeah Gypsy :p!! AK is Ok.
Lotta hardwood needing to be laid on the coast, lotta rich women needing wood laid down there too ;), lmao. Get it get it.

This is very surprising news. I think he is an amazing player, and seems to be the very calm and collected type (the type of player that I could not imagine losing their emotions over a bad shot or something).
