Slightly bent pin

I have a predator bk that seemingly has a slightly bent pin on it. Shaft rolls true and when put together has a definite roll out issue. Is there anyway to "tweak" the pin to try to straighten it back out?
Thanks,

It may be the pin or it may be the facing on the shaft or butt are not square. A good cue repair person should be able to diagnose and repair the problem quite easily.

Agreed, you should let a cuemaker or experienced cue repairman look at it. It might be as simple as one or both joint faces needing trued up.

My 2 cents,

Gary

After further inspection it doesn't appear to be the pin. Looks like a slight warp in the butt. There's about a .030" roll out about an inch or two just below the joint. Is it shot???

Is it shot?

That depends on how picky you are.
I have a cheapo break cue that all of a sudden decided to imitate a banana.

The shaft warped badly and the butt went that way as well. I used it for quite some time that way and it still broke just fine.

Maybe even better than when it was straight. I just made sure I knew where the warp was.

I am not up on Predator's warranty but KJ is. It could be a warranty issue possibly if you get lucky.

Thanks,

Did you leave it in any situation where it was exposed to alot of temperature change? Like your car?
