SM Asian 9Ball - 2nd Leg final.

It's finally.....

After virtually passing through the eye of the needle on his 4 previous matches to the finals, finally, it's the great old man who won convincingly.

Congrats Efren.

My apologies for spelling the name of Yang Ching Shun wrongly.


The Finals:

It was a nip and tack game for the first 12 racks, 6-6 to both players. On the 13th and 14 rack, Efren did 2 awesome 9ball combos to go up 8-6. 15th went unlucky for the birthday boy as he scratch on the break and Efren runout to go 9-6 akead. Then Efren broke and runout again for a comfortable 10-6 on the hill lead. The B-day boy Yang broke and had a golden break(the 2nd and only golden breaks on the day, both by Yang), but the CB was kicked and it scratched. Then Efren cleaned the table for the title.
 
Does he ever stop??? Congrats to Efren! To yang, congratulations also. efren said it himself: you had the best shotmaking in that tournament, the breaks just didn't go your way.
 
This just proves that being the best pool player of all time can help you to win some tournaments! To pool fans everywhere, enjoy Efren Reyes while you can, you'll probably never see another like him. Simply in a class by himself.

Congratulations to Efren! Wu gave Efren a run for his money in the semis, that kid really is something special.
