looking for information on how to get small dents or dings out of the
butt of a cue--oops37--and thank u all for the replies--

if its an indention actually denting in the wood take a thick wash cloth double it wet it down well place it over indention take a sodering iron get it hot unplug place it over the cloth at indention area the heat will pull the indention out don't apply heat for a long period of time repeat if needed if this is a high dollar cue be careful it could damage the finish i have used this method to repair many shaft dents when i did tip repair sometimes mositure with out heat will remove small dings:smile:
