What does TCW stand for on the Tucker cue?

TCW stands for Tucker Cue Works. I did call mine Tucker Custom for a while but I really don't build custom cues so I decided to change the name.

What are you talking about Murray? How aren't your cues custom?

Good question! Perhaps he means with regards to the specs? Or, perhaps even design? I guess my feeling is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! LoL. Whatever he's doing, works, so that's good enough for me!!

I am betting that he looks at any given wood combination, and then just let's the design elements sorta 'evolve' from there. All I know is he has a great eye for both! I get huge compliments on mine every time I pull it outta the case...even over the fancier cues in the room...but I think it's the way they play that makes them so cherished amongst us oh so lucky owners.

Lisa <=====considers herself VERY fortunate.

Because the customer can't call me up and order what they want. Custom means made to the customers specifications. I don't deviate from my tapers and other design criteria. Kind of like trying to order a SouthWest with 8 points and a stainless joint. It's not going to happen.

however your tapers and processes are "custom" to only you so therefore to me you are a custom cuemaker. ppl call you and order a cue they want. specs to me means more then just numbers. included in that are woods, type of wrap, veneer combo, type of joint ect...

you are deff a custom cuemaker murray and and a damn fine one at that:wink:
