I live in NYC and heading to work sat Morning around 11am on the crosstown bus heading east on 79 st. Got my cue case and a couple of cues.
Sitting next to me this lady says that's a beautiful case whats in there?
I say Guess.
She says a golf putter LOL. I say God forbid NO try again - she is thinking.
After a few seconds I tell her Pool cues and take out a Mike Stacey Brunswick
Butterfly points cue and a Paul Dayton SP. and I go over some of the finer points of each. This is Great scene on a NYC bus.
She says wow they are great how nice, and then her friend or family member says we have a relative who makes cues I say who? she says
Ted Harris do you know him? I say no but i have seen his work everybody is excited and they get off the bus...the morel of the story (you never know)
