SML Open - Strickland vs Archer

If there was EVER the ultimate tough pick of a tournament, this is it. Out of all the players in the SML tourney, this is definitely a FEATURE MATCH-UP between two American legends.
Earl's strong killer instinct and desire to WIN may get him to the finish line first. However, Johnny's well-known concentration capabilities is his secret weapon. He doesn't get rattled too easily, and the closer he gets to the winner's circle, the better his game is (IMO).
If I were to vote with my heart, I'd place every V-chip in my V-bank on Earl "The Pearl" Strickland, and I'd like nothing more than to see The Pearl snatch this title. Johnny "The Scorpian" Archer, though, is just coming off a small victory from the Southeast Open, and he has a habit of stringing wins back to back. Both players are "on the road," which is a factor (IMO). I'm going to bet on Johnny, but if Earl wins it, I'll be pulling for him to win this whole tournament.
I've seen both of them play on many occasions. I wish I was there, and I hope somebody tapes this set. It is truly a battle of champions!
