Yes, I wish this was big table country. Just from memory, I think there are 9, nine foot tables to rent in all of Chattanooga. These are spread over three pool halls. That's why I have a 9 footer in my basement.

I've never played in LA but I was stationed in San Diego and Alameda in the 1980's and only played a little. California is most definitely 9 foot country. I have just warmed up to the idea that pros play on boxes.

I'll play badly on anything. I'm not picky about what pockets that I'll rattle my balls in. :)

I played in bar box country for a long time. Then I moved to Cali...yep. Big boxes. I've played golf holes smaller than the tables they have out here.
 
See which is easiest to find a Bar Table Tournament or a 9 Ft Table Tournament. The Bar Tourneys and Leagues are helping this great sport survive. For those who say pool is not a sport, then why do the top pros all say you have to exercise and stay in shape to compete?
