Snake Skin Wrap

I'm thinking about having the linen wrap removed from my cue and having snake skin installed - I want a shiny black wrap. I don't live near a cue maker and was considering having the work done at Mueller's Billiard Supply. The charge is $75 (which includes the skin) and I think that's very reasonable. Any input on the quality of the work done at Mueller's? Any input on where else I can have it done? And as an after thought, how do you treat the snake skin wrap to keep it looking good?

I think the $75 "snake skin" is not snake, it's leather. Embossed with a snake skin texture. Care for it like you would any other piece of leather. Regarding quality, I think Ratcues here at AZ is the mueller guy. From my understanding and from past reviews of his work, You would be hard pressed to find better anywhere. His work is said to be meticulous.

all that being said, I love the embossed black snake leather wrap. It's probably my all time favorite wrap. Good choice.

Don't settle for snake skin or some leather imitation. For the finest gripping surface, all the top pros will only use baby seal.
