here are some pics of my tulipwood and cocobolo john davis conversion. i should be getting it in a few days. it has an ivory joint and silver barbells along with the ivory inlays. i had joe make the butt cap out of the same piece of tulipwood as the sleeve for a different look. i'll post more pics when i get the cue.

Nice cue....

I really like the combination of woods. That old school ring work really makes it all come together. I have seen some super nice cues made from the Davis blanks.

Very nice cue. If Joe ever gets the opportunity to put in more time towards cue making, look out. He has so much talent.

Sorry Guy. Joe dropped the cue on my basement floor today and took a huge chunk out of it.

i've seen your basement, it would be tough to drop something and actually hit the floor.

That's the trouble Guy. There was so much junk in the way, it hit several sharp objects trying to find the floor.

Actually, I'm kidding as you know. I've spent the last several hours inserting over 150 tiny pieces of Ivory into even tinier holes. I figured somebody else should feel my pain.
 
you should have put joe to work while he was there!! and i was kidding too, actually the basement is clean.

kenny, i had your cue in my hands down there the other day, but i am pretty sure i didn't drop it. (looks good by the way).
