Sneaky Pete Mafia

lol I don't give a crap if he sent pics to 100 women.. lol it's none of my or anyone on here's business what he does outside of the magazine.

The Magazine is an excellent start. Thanks for putting the effort and I hope it continues!

I'm pretty sure not many were expecting that response including myself.

Personally, Im glad that he owned that mistake/s.

"Don't take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive!" Lol.

I'm fairly certain that no one reading this post, posting in this thread, or subscribed to this thread has a squeaky clean personal life. I don't feel like that is the sort stuff that makes this place better.

IF only we could get a decent case maker to chime in on this post . Does anyone know one?

John, John, John,

Its more tasteless that he sent the photos taking the chance of getting caught in the first place doncha think?

who cares...it's his personal life. What does any of this have to do with the billiards publication he puts out? If your an able to read his magazine and enjoy because of he sent pics to a women then you may want to seek therapy.

TROB I think the bigger issue was his asking members for loans. The off color messages that he sent to female members is his own business. You are correct he has the right to be as creepy as he wants to be.

but still not our business. a good example though of why you don't do things in private that you are afraid to talk about in public.

I am not one to crucify a person for being stupid. as everyone here knows I have been stupid a lot.

I actually don't think it is tasteless to exchange photos if it is consensual. I personally would not do it with anyone I was not intimate with and trusted beyond doubt.

its really a moral issue and I guess people will fall along the spectrum of what's right or not. I personally think its a personal issue that should have stayed there. however you don't crap where eat is also a rule that makes sense to follow.

But the fact that it was his friends wife, come on John, even your not that stupid.

I don't know the details. Nor do you. I don't know what was happening in these people's live or why they made the choices they did.

I know it's pretty crude to bring it up on a billiards forum for the sake of a witchhunt.

Do you all think that people need to have the Scarlett A engraved on their foreheads?

Or am I the only one who knows that story?

I know that if y'all keep acting like the morality police you're going to start getting pictures of my naked C cups and no one wants to see that. :-)

I don't see what the problem is in asking for loans? People ask for loans all the time. Unless you have evidence that a person is doing it in a scamming way with no intention to pay those loans back I don't see where this activity is illegal or immoral.

I mean people ask for help all the time, they get loans, investment, sell shares, etc...for businesses that often don't make it.

Soliciting loans doesn't make a person a criminal. Even very wealthy people go around getting loans and investment to build businesses using the concept that it gives access to more money than they are able to put up.

I don't know all the details, I wasn't asked for any loan. But I can tell you that a very prominent promoter once called me out of the blue and asked me for a $10,000 loan. I didn't have it at the time but I have loaned several thousand to friends in the business at times and at times taken loans from friends in the business. That's normal business per my experience over 25 years.

I believe that there are very few in business who have never used loans whether formal or informal to fund their business.

I guess asking for a loan is better than selling the cues that are sent to you for reviewing. A certain BK3 comes to mind that was sold before the review was done. But I know the guy that bought it got one hell of a good deal.

Is this going to be a Snowden-style thing where allegations drag out for years.

I don't want to be cast into the role of attorney for the accused but wouldn't that be a situation between Predator (assuming that they sent the cue for review as I can't see any reason for any other company to want a Predator cue reviewed) and the reviewer? If the cue was given with no expectation of being returned then there is no problem.

This brings up a funny memory from a few years ago.

I was at the Guangzhou Billiards Exhibition in China and ran into the head guy at Predator. We were talking about some of the knockoffs at the show and he said, "yeah I even saw a BK3 and we haven't even made a BK3 yet."

C cups?
