It used to be the cheapest cue to by was a Sneaky Pete.
Why now are many of them no longer the cheapest cue?

Is it supply and demand thing now?

Example way back when ...

Cheapest Mcdermott was around 135$ but the Sneaky was 75$
Cheapest Meucci was around 200$ the Pete was 100$

Now I think I saw a Cheap Joss for 135 but the Sneaky was 225$

Am I missing something or just wrong???

im not a cue maker so i could be wrong
but to me a sneaky is a cue you have to look hard to tell its not a one piece off the wall
now a sneaky can be "fancy"
thats what you pay for
my 2 cents

Back years ago my Sneaky played as well as cues I was selling to Japan for big bucks. You run out a lot of Sneakys and the value of your high end stuff goes down.
