If someone can help me out here I'd really appreciate it. I've only owned two cues in my life. A Jensen plain jane with a phenolic joint and a Moore with points and a phenolic joint. I'm thinking about buying a snekey because I love the look; but, I can't seem to figure out why some snekey's are claimed to "hit" better than others if we're talking about a full splice cue with a wood to wood joint. Is there/ can there be that much of a difference? Are some joints better than others? I would guess that the butt and shaft tapers would make more of a difference than anything. Thanks for your responses.
