Does anyone know the pin size on the Sniper II J/B. Also any recs on getting the phenolic tip to hold chalk?
thanks

Send a pm to tonyc its his line of cues he should be able to help you. I know what you mean about the tip holding chalk but I have never miscued jumping or breaking with it. I have never used a tip like this before and so I just thought that is how it was supposed to be since it works like a dream for me.

thanks for the quick reply, I'll try that but if anyone knows the answer feel free to chime in.

I sent an email to Tony over a month ago asking the same question and never got a reply.:(

Phenolic

I use some fine grit sandpaper to ruff up the tip infrequently.

I know there are various opinions on blue diamond chalk but it holds on my phenolic tip the best.

I use 60 grit sandpaper and start from the middle of the tip stoking downward. The roughness holds the chalk and will stop your miscues. After several sessions of playing the tip will be smooth again and need roughing up again.

The cue does not need much chalk, As you are only using it for breaking and jumping.
The pin Size? a freind of mine says he uses 3/8/10 joint protectors if this helps.

Sorry I have had to change my email Address to
tony@strokeitwear.com someone keeps hacking my other email and most of the emails I recieve for some reason go to my spam box which is just taking to long to read through.

Corey Deuel and Dennis Hatch along with many other pro's are now officially using the cue, It now comes in with an rish linen wrap and also in black with and without a wrap.

I hope this answers some of your questions and thanks for buying what I think is the best Jump Break cue on the market.
