Hello mates!

I'm looking to get some Snooker content for my magazine. You can check us out at:

www.cueandtable.com

Any info on equipment (cues, tables, etc.) or even just advice on other sources for Snooker information would be great.

Thanks!

I'm off to the worlds at the end of the month, I could throw together a short report and some photos for you if that's what your looking for.

Slasher,

Thanks so much for the offer. I should have been more specific on what I was looking for so my apologies. The focus of the magazine is more on the equipment side of the game. The magazine is a FREE one, so you can log onto the site and check us out to get more of a feel for what we write about.

Basically I'm looking for info on:

Who are the best production makers of Snooker cues?

Who are some custom Snooker cue makers?

Who are the best table manufacturers?

Do they have case makers for Snooker cues, and if so, who are some good ones?

That's more of what I'm looking to get into.

Thanks!

Thank You!!!

Mike Wooldridge, Trevor White, and John Parris are the big 3 cuemakers,,,,,Reilly tables are the nuts on that side of the pond.

That was exactly what I was looking for. Just a primer on the "Who's Who" of the snooker equipment world.

I'll do some research now that I have some direction, but any other info or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for the help!

All the people Slasher names make handmade cues to stock and to order as does virtually every cuemaker. There is only one difference between his/anyones custom and production list and thats price.

Scoreboard Software

You are welcome include an article about BallStream scoreboard software... the most feature rich solution providing both local and online scoring solutions for FREE.

Their Scoreboard Software caters for all cue sports including snooker, billiards and the various shades of pool. Use it to display a full screen scoreboard on any monitor connected to your computer, even giant plasma screens.

Their online scoreboard solutions are as diverse and can be controlled from any computer to broadcast live scores.

The features of these systems are too many to list here, such as being able to print out a blow by blow report of all frames in a match, etc. Best thing is to download the software and have a play with it.

If you have any questions I am here.

I would be happy to write an article or two. I'm a snooker enthusiast and have started a blog recently and wrote some good stuff up.

Have a look

I have a snooker Forum on my site, and would be interesting in having some articles posted over there if you are interested. I could do it with RSS Feed I suppose, but I'd rather have posts by the author, with which members could discuss things. Take a look when you have time please,,,,,and PM me with your thoughts.
