Snooker Cue Joint Conversion

Currently I have a 2-piece Ashwood snooker cue with brass 5/16x18 pin with male end on the shaft, so is it possible to convert the joint to standard 5/16x14 joint with male end on the butt and female on the shaft?

Yes it is. Both would have to be redrilled and one end plugged but any competent cue maker could do it.
