Snooker Cue Repair

I realize ash snooker cues are made differently from pool cues, with planing rather than a lathe.

I thought this video was interesting. I have watched a number of his other videos but this one took me by surprise.

I wondered what the cue makers though of this repair.

I think that would be a challenge to get those in place without having some of the glue squeeze out.

Never got it straight. Still junk, but possibly worth it if it truly had sentimental value to someone.
