Eric, great to meet you man and looking forward to hanging out again at the tournament. Thanks for the encouragement during my final match.
You're definitely one of the good guys.

Oh, and this guys game is no joke.

Thanks Koop. It was good meeting you also. Not quite sure I will make it back before the main tournament, but I look forward to drinking more beer with you then.

I probably won't either but I'll see you then.
The beer is on me considering you barely let me pay for any this time.

I see you got in Koop so you cant be playing that bad.

How many people for each Class this week anyone know?

No, I played ok but really had to work at it. I got the final spot by beating Chris H. He wasn't on his game otherwise I think he is the better player.

We only have 15 tables, Single elimination is the only way to run 3 tournaments in one day - Still with the number of players that show you only need to win one match maybe two to qualify in some cases

There will be a full field for the main event (64 players) - 9 players qualify each Saturday, 7 Saturdays and (1) random draw from the players that attempted to qualify and didn't - So far we have 36 qualified with 3 weeks to go

Ray,

To give my two cents to this ( as I always do)

First is off I think a lot of people are waiting till then end for a couple of reasons. First being the better players will already be qualified, and second of all you would have a better guide on how the turn out will actually be.

I also have a suggestion and a comment.

The suggestion is maybe you should have a running total of how much additional money has been added to the pot from the qualifiers. So its not just the 5k being advertised (even though I think that is great). But show that additional money (from people showing up) is begining to add up and the pay outs will be good for the other places paid.

No my comment is no offense or anything like that at all. You know I show up to anything and everything to do with pool locally.

But the handi caps are a little..... shall I say shallow. C players only getting 2 games from A players. So some C player is going to have to face Jarrod or Joey D. only getting 2 games, that doesnt seem all that attractive to some players.

Like I said just my 2 cents

Dave
