A lot is being assumed because there is no real information being given.

Whats the setup for the first tourny with 150 players?
Does everyone play in the first round?
Gabber.

There is no other information to be given regarding the situation other than what has been given thus far. Ronnie is going through a qualification period in the UK for a tournament that will coincide with ours. If he qualifies through weekly matchplay, he will have to play there. If he loses a match, he will play here. Until I hear from him that he is not playing here, he is signed up for our tournament. If he can't play, someone else will take his place. We don't know who it will be, but it will be someone who is already on the IPT.

As far as the next tournament, everyone plays in the first round.

Deno,

Just to clarify, if an IPT member wasn't invited to play in Orlando it is "mandatory" that they be there. However if they were invited but have other commitments the "mandatory" attendance is no longer mandatory for them?

As I have stated before, I am actually agreeing that it would be bad form and set a bad precedence to let Ronnie play elsewhere, then welcome him back with open arms to the first event. I don't think they want a double standard, because I know they certainly wouldn't hold MY place if I did that!

I believe they should do like golf and have a few exemptions where they can invite whoever they want to play in an event. They do it in golf and Michelle Wie has been an incredible draw in the events she played with the exemption. If Ronnie wants to play in any event then I can see it being a smart move to guarantee him a spot. Of course they wouldn't hold the place of the vast majority of players but there are a few that it would be worthwhile to make exceptions for.
