I was thinking I might try to sneak out and play golf since the courses are likely to be less crowded. :)

I think Tiger Woods is playing Michael Jordan... But then again it could be the Socks against the Giants...
 
couldn't care less, have to work in the poolroom this weekend, it will be on tv so for me there will be no getting away from it. Normally, I find anything else to do (when not working). I'd rather clean out my closets...

Where's the "They don't air it on TV in this country, so of course I'm going to play pool...but I'd still be playing pool if they did..." option?

Of course, if I were in America I would be at the pool hall and it would probably be on. I was at the pool hall during the game where Brett Favre's dad had died. I remember that, so I must have watched some of it. Maybe the same thing would happen again?

i will be peaking around the corner once and a while i guess when the crowd screams from Table 15 at World Championship billiards in Manchester CT :-)

q-master in Va beach is having a SB party for it's league members. $20 for a table for four people. Happy hour all night and free food. :) That place will be the only thing I miss about this area when I leave.:(
 
The bad news is that I will be on a plane flying to Cancun during the superbowl on sunday. The good news is that I will be on a plane flying to Cancun during the superbowl on sunday:D

Well I don't really care about the Superbowl or Football. I'm personally tired of having customers ask me "Who are you rooting for?". Then when I mention I do not watch football they give me some sort of dumbfounded look.

Now after the NFL's latest stunt I hope the Superbowl doesn't even happen. They got some dumb laws made for them where you can't have a party and watch a game on a 55" tv or larger. Unless you are in a sports bar. You also can't watch it on more than 1 TV.

They are threatening some Churches with lawsuits if they show the Superbowl on a projection screen.

So Screw Fox and the NFL. Jock Sniffing can only go so far.

Odds are I'll probably do some more reading on my AMA medical encyclopedia. Gotta work Monday.

Now I have debated going to Savannah or Tybee Islan for the hell of it.
 
I'm going to have the perfect sunday. I'm going over to a friends house who has a 50" hi-def and a great table in the rec room
 
I wouldn't miss the commercials for anything, especially the beer commercials.

Superbowl Sunday; Football, beer, pizza and shooting pool. (Not necessarly in that order.)

Now that's what I call a good day!

tomorrow or today i should say as it is past Midnight, here in town they are having a two day tournament, so i will be playing and watching the game. + going for the Bears, what has it been 21 years.
 
We Are Having A Card Tourney Along With Dinner And Pool Tourney Before And During And After The Super Bowl. What Could Be Better Than That. Well, Other Than Strippers And A Pole.
 
i will still play pool before and after the game....the game is great in itself.but half time entertainment and the commercials are just as important to me...:)
 
I'll be watching the Superbowl. Being a life long Packers fan, (and owner), I truly HATE THE BEARS!!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

Not that I like the Colts either, but they're the lesser of two evils.

I hope 'Da Bears' gets their A$$'s kicked in a totally humiliating fashion.:cool: As a matter of fact, I hope it's the biggest blowout in Superbowl history!:p
