So what company makes a decent, budget 2x2 case?

I have a single cue Casemaster Q-Vault that's been an excellent case. I now have a two cue system I want to start using so I need to upgrade to a two cue case and the Casemaster 2x2 version looks like a great option at only $50. But wanted to pick brains here to see if I'm not seeing a better deal.

Thanks,

I'd personally only buy a JB case but it's going to be more than 50. They have 2x3 cases I believe

I have a Casemaster 2x2 and while it's an ok low-end case, I can't get many of my cues (with the joint protectors on) to fit. Check the sized before you buy.

I also have an Action 1x2 that I really like - I'd probably consider their 2x2.

I am stuck on JB cases right now but for a great case at a moderate price the Guiseppe cases cannot be beat....and will last forever if taken care of.

A great long-lasting case will run you over $100. JB Cases are excellent, and I think the 2b/3s cases start at $150. They make customized cases. It really depends on what you're willing to spend and the quality of craftsmanship you're looking to find.

Actually ended up going with an Action 2x2 hard case. It had hundreds of reviews with 88% being 5 star, 12% being 4 stars and zero 3-1 star reviews. That's pretty reassuring for only a $56 price tag. haha

Good choice. I use to deal Action cues and cases, and still have a nice soft Action case I've used on and off for almost 20 years.

J&J is fine...just don't run over it with a car.

And for people that don't know it's Ebay.

I saw several I liked that were in the $250 range but that seemed kind of overkill since my two cues only cost $600 together.

The Action is a vinyl (leather immitation) hard case, I suspect it'll last until I buy higher end cues someday. When I'm in that neighborhood I'll probably just take the time to make a 2x2 box case with all the 'frills.'
