Where's the union? What are the lawyers doing? What happened to
all that bravado and chest pounding?
Hmmm, looks like KT wins again.

I agreed with your arguments before but I think now you are just throwing monkey wrenches into the situation. If you are really concerned about the players then keep quiet and let the mailman do his job. The more the players get paid the more likely the players will get the rest.
Nostroke said:From the minute he announced the checks were not forthcoming in Reno until the players are paid in full, KT with his "International Accounting Firm" and "personal guarantee" "funded for 2 years" bullsh#t, deserves to get knocked!. It's all on him!!

Smashmouth, me thinks thou hast hit the nail on the head.smashmouth said:My issue right now is not really with KT and my comments were a tad

What must happen to pool players for them to actually form a players org?
This all goes back to a very ugly fact, pro pool players (generally speaking) don't give a damn about the sport or anyone in it other than themselve's. This is the truth, and everyone in the game knows it.
When the IPT was not paying, there was this glimmer of hope that the players could actually unite for once, now that the cheques are trickling in all anyone is concerned with is their next "11%".

This whole business of holding qualifiers for a qualifier yet to be scheduled, for a tour yet to be scheduled, is seriously f___ed up. There is a lot more on the plate than the Reno payout.
To me, he appears to be keeping as many options open as he can for as little of his own money as possible. It's that simple.

I'll share with you all a little story. Many years ago there was a man in our community who was a know thief. He would break into homes of people he new had cash around (Restaurant and Shop owners) and clean them out. This was largely done when he knew for sure that the occupants would be out. Religious events and Weddings were his favorites. He got us once and from that day forward my Father paid people to house sit.
I always asked my Father why nobody "fixed" this guy. His response was classic and goes a lot to peoples nature. The guy was always such a good friend to everyone that nobody called him on what he did for money. He would be the first guy to help out a person in trouble and could be very charming. I think this is what we have here. KT is promising everything that these players always wanted...big buck tour...fame...fortune...credability...noteriety...and has the personality to be able to lie and smile. Those who don't hold much want for the dream instantly see through the crap and dismiss him as a charlatan. Who buys his Natural Cures? The healthy? I think not.

Morons, nitwits, the gullible, easy marks, outright suckers, dreamers, the desperate, fairy tale believers. That about covers it. No one with a shred of critical thinking ability, that's for sure.Nick B said:Who buys his Natural Cures?

Nah, that makes you smart! At .25, it's a cheap source of heat. It's more cost-effective by the BTU than coal, gas, or even firewood.Smorgass Bored said:I've been looking for a copy at the Flea Market for .25
Does that just make me a 'cheap' all of the above ?
