Soft hitting shaft.....need recommendations!

I know this has probably been discussed a million times but I'm fairly new to the site and need some advice.
I would like to get some recommendations on which shaft to use. I'm not concerned with low deflection because I feel it's not the most important aspect of the shaft. I feel whatever shaft works best for you is what u should use. I may be wrong , but that's my opinion on it. I've never used one so I don't really know how they play.
So here's my question.......
I want the shaft that has the softest hit and feel with no hard sound at impact. You pool players that are also golfers, u know the feeling u get when u hit that perfect impact shot with ur 7 iron and u don't feel anything! It comes off the club with no sound or anything and u know u have hit it perfect! That's the same feeling I want in my cue shaft.
Im not a beginner and I play the game very well. Again, I'm not concerned with deflection. I can move the cue ball around with a solid maple shaft better than some with a $200 LD shaft. Now if a LD shaft can give me what I want plus help my game then so be it, I'm all for it.
Soft hit with the less noise possible is what I'm looking for.
So let's hear it !
Thanks.......

In my opinion a OB 1 sounds like it would work for you. After a 2yr period with a OB1 I now have converted to the OB 2.

im not an expert but why dont you try a super soft tip???
rather than change your shaft????

I would agree, OB-1 shaft (not the classic models) combined with, say, a Ultraskin VS tip should do the trick
and have none of that hard/ping sound when you strike the ball whilst still being a very good performing shaft/tip.

I personally play with a triangle tip and it also produces very little sound (which I like) but I suppose the triangle
is not to everyones liking and the softer Ultraskin might be quiter still.

I actually play with a Wizard medium and it plays pretty soft with not a lot of noise at impact. Was just curious if the different shafts offer other choices like the tip does. I play with a cue that has a steel joint and was also wondering if a wood to wood joint would offer a softer feel and hit.
Thanks for all input.

i went the opposite direction youre wanting to go
i had an ultraskin soft on my cue,
but i like a harder hit,
so i went with a pressed wizard (EDIT: meant to say ultraskin) medium for my personal taste
start with a softer tip, it might be just that simple to get your desired hit
