Other than the Moori S and the Kamui Black SS, is there anything else you guys are installing for a soft layered tip that is holding up and performing well? I offer the above tips and also elk masters which I compress over night, just wanted to see if there are any other good options. Thanks.

Kamui soft brown, Kamui soft black, Talisman soft, Tiger soft.

I have a Kamui soft on my player now. Not impressed.
Won't hold shape and mushrooms. Maybe I got a bad one. It won't stop me from trying the other Kamuis.

I've had extremely good luck with Talisman soft and not one complaint from anybody I've installed one for. They hold shape and don't mushroom.

Is that a brown or black Kamui soft? I have the Kamui black soft on three shafts between two players and we both love them. Haven't seen any mushrooming, etc.

I usually break 10 -15 times when new to get them to settle down, a little touch up and good to go...

Last night I had one of those rare moments where I could see every shot and was making them. After about 7-8 shots, some with some pretty good draw, etc. I realized I hadn't chalked up.

Don't usually do that, but I was all excited about running balls. But... sure seemed to hold whatever chalk was left pretty well.

Sorry, I meant to say that was a brown. I think I'll try the med soft next and see what happens.

I tried the Kaumi black meduim, but it hardened up and played like a hard.

Went back to the black softs, and they end up playing like a Moori medium but to me, with better control. If you like a soft tip, you probably want to try the Kamui black super soft.

They do seem to take a little longer to settle down but so far, my favorite tips.

Don’t remember hearing great things about the brown ones, just blacks.
