Hi guys, I've switched from LD shafts to non and I am am improving my game. I am in love with my stroke again. My problem is the tip.
I want to switch to a leather tip also, non layered. Which one is the best and softest of all?
Please refer only of production tips.

PS: I should make a poll but I don;t know all brands on the market.

Thank you guys. I was trying to get rid of Elk but I guess I'll stick with them for a few years. Thanks anyway.

Now you said you don't want a layered tip, but the Tiger soft layered tip is about as good as it gets in a soft tip.

Elkmaster in my experience on non layered. +1 on what Chris said regarding the Tiger though.

Efren used to use Elkmaster exclusively if I remember right, wonder if he still does?

Not sure if he still does or not. But I also heard that he would go around trying house cues and when he found an EM on one that he liked he would have it taken off so he could keep it. Could just be another myth surrounding the legend but I thought I read that here somewhere.

yes he does

Efren still uses Elks for sure. And the story of stealing tips from house cues it's probably true. Hard to find a good tip these days. :grin-square::thumbup:
