Looking for a software to create pool cue renderings. Needs to be completely 3D with high resolution. In the future i want someone to design my dream cue. I just havn't created it yet.

I believe this is ordered in price low-high. It's all by memory, so forgive me if one os more than the other. As you go down the list, animation and rendering features get better, but modeling is pretty good all the way around.

Blender is more than good enough to suit your needs for making a cue design and providing a realistic rendering.

There is a huge learning curve for any of these packages, you might as well start with Blender, as it's free.

You need to make sure you learn how to extrude, boolean, texture, and light to make a realistic pool cue.

At my work, they have Solidworks and have recently got HSM Works for the cam side.
Does 4th axis work very well. It has paid for itself in the last 6 weeks over what we were using from the shorter production times on the parts being made.In some cases, the parts are made in only 20% of the time that the were taking.If you have similar parts, it will keep that strategy and transfer it to the other parts, saves time in creating the cutter paths and tool selection etc.
One of the advantages of it, is you can associate density to the parts and get mass properties for the assemblies as well as a bill of materials etc.
I assume this can be done in alot of other packages as well.
