any ideas on how to get a tip to stay on a cue with a solid fiberglass shaft? tryed all kinds of glues, but the tips keep coming off

btw, the break cue shatters em even though its heavy and is built out of an unlimited class fishing rod blank

Don't know if things have changed over the years but I bought a fibre-glass cue in 1966 and it was practically unplayable. It was very stiff and wouldn't slide thru a closed bridge unless it was powdered almost every shot. I lost it in a 8-ball game, might be my best game ever.

LOL!

Now that's a nice quote. You mind if I steal it and use it? I was using, "I sold the cue for $20 bucks and robbed the guy."

LOL ... sometimes things work out for the best.
Did you re-match with the guy when he started using the fiberglass cue?
