Solitary scoring

I play by myself a good bit and try to go thru different flavors of games like continuous, straight, one-pocket, bowlliards apart from the standard 8 and 9 ball routines.
My table doesn't have the scorers, unfortunately.
So here are my questions:
1. How easy (and risk free) is it to actually get the scoring wheels installed onto the table itself?
This is my second table and my earlier table came with the scoring wheels installed on the head rail. I miss not having them.
2. Is there an external way of doing it? I have a snooker style scoreboard but it's a bit of a chore to have to update it on every pot, especially on straight pool game variations since I gotta walk away from the table to the wall to update the score.
3. Is there an online app one can use for such score-keeping? It's still a bit of a chore since I'll need to pull it out after every successful pot.

Do you have a solution that works for you or seen something that could work well for solitary playing?
TIA

I also like the beads more. Apps or phones are distracting, most of the time.

You can hang the beads with this: Ikea DIGNITET Curtain Drapes Wire 197 "+ 24 Rings with Clips Set, New https://a.co/d/ciwngxG

If you want to interrupt play for stats, you gotta go with an app.

You'll get all you want and way more, if you want that too.

Thanks for the replies. Apart from the billiards scoring app, there are a few generic scoring apps that will simply keep track of scores so that seems to be good as well.
I'm not sure if I'm inclined towards the beads at the moment.
For bowlliards, I use a bowling scorekeeper since the math needs to be done and a regular scorekeeping app isn't good enough.

30 yrs. ago, I bought a wall mount drink shelf with # wheels installed (matched my Diamond table, but not sure where it where it came from). But, you could easily install wheels in any furniture (router), or, (like me) in a small plastic briefcase (box knife) to carry to rooms where no scoring system exists (also holds misc. accessories, rulebook, etc.). Grew up with bead wire (preferred), but have too-low ceiling now.
BTW: Since the wheels were at the foot of a Brunswick ball-return table, the opponent (or ref) racking, almost always did the scoring. But, with modern drop-pocket tables, and self-racking tournament policies, the issue of assigning scoring responsibility now arises (?). With the beads, the shooter usually scored while his opponent was busy racking.

Any option above will do for scoring. Your real issue is the idea you have to update the score after every pot. Just do it after each inning, or every rack in str8pool.
