Have any 60” cues made by Gus? I’m thinking of getting myself a nice Xmas present this year. There’s one in particular out there I want but I probably won’t be able to find it. It was sold to a collector in Chicago. A doctor named Woo and think last I heard Clinton made him ambassador to Ireland or something. He used to have a website but it’s been down for years.
Or maybe I will just take the money and go fishing somewhere.
Not that I’m aware of. I’m 95% sure all my Gus & Barry’s are 58”. I have one SW that’s 60” but I bought it new in 87 and can’t sell it.

Everything times out, including us. I'm happy I sold off my cues when I did, I kept what I play with.
In the near future you won't be able to give a cue collection away.
Older cues and cue buyers are timing out.
I'm experiencing it with my fishing tackle collection for 10 years now, I can't give stuff away.
There is a huge buy, sell, and trade market for tackle that dwarfs pool cues, I may as well burn my stuff.
My son is 30 years old, well recognized in the industry, deals in tackle everyday, he says this.
Dad,,,,,nobody wants it,,,,,,they want the latest and greatest, new lure builders, rods, reels, etc.
The collections that are out there are amazing, worth big money, nobody wants any part of.
This was a recent lure collectors show, everything is for sale, these collections and pieces are worth thousands.
Barely anyone came to this show, I bought the artwork, paid 1/4 of it's value.
The same day there was another show 300 miles away with the latest and greatest lure builders.
At the other show people traveled from 6 states, there were lines around the corner all day, the vendors sold out.

I know exactly what you’re saying. There was a guy at our pool room that collected old fishing lures. He must have had tens of thousands invested and I bet his wife will just throw it all away when he’s gone. Sad really, but I always enjoyed talking old time lures with him until he moved.

And once a chick who was 45 (I was 34-35 years old) paid me $3500 to bang her. I met her in the high roller room at the Belligo. My friend played craps real high(over a million on the table) one thing lead to another and I was upstairs doing the deed and got paid $3500. Hand to God it’s true. Only happened once in my life. But it’s a true story. I only did it for the story. She wasn’t ugly, she was pretty hot for her age actually.

To be straight forward...for over $5000 there is no weight limit restrictions. The more cash involved the less ugly counts.
When I played my best pool (18-19 years old), I made fun of the old guys with fancy cues that couldn't play. Now I am one of those guys.
No rush on the BBQ. We're not starting without you. I need a break anyway.... Have not cleaned the grill lately ...had a nice grease fire going. It took my picture...the flames effected the NY strips.
OK>>>CONFESS|ON.... Had a aged something in Santa Monica last week. It's in the rules of life to go nuts once in a while. I had a $128 steak... did not come close to a 16oz Prime NY strip from Costco for $15+ a pound. The best steaks are at home on YOUR grill.

I went to a place in nyc last week Hawksmoore was horrible. Came home and cooked up 3 streaks for 25% the price and gave that nyc joint the 5 ball (orange or purple)
