I have been playing pool for about 2 years now and i play as a strong 5 on a local 8-ball bar league with aspirations of being a 6 soon. My question is this:
Q: What defines a A, B, C, or D player according to a handicap system

Parker, the player handicap system you are talking about can vary from one part of the country to another, unless you are playing in an organized league like the APA or BCA, then there should not be a difference.

If you are equal to a 5 using the APA system then you would be a low C player on the ABCD System that most use. A player with a 7 rating would be around a C+ to a low B rating.
