Some Hoosier Slang

Here are some terms I hear people saying at IU that I thought were a little different.

Bringin' it back - means a cross-corner or cross-side bank.

Twofer- making two balls on one called shot.

Buttcrack- the line formed by two balls being frozen together.

The Pele- an impressive kick shot.

I'm not sure where you received your info on Hoosier slang. I have never heard any of them.
Are you attending IU?
It sounds a little more like pool league slang and some (coaching).
Ya think--

What?

My girlfriend graduated from IU and if she ever says one of those while we're playing pool, I'm gonna laugh my ass off. I think The Lady Killer is right on this one. ;)

Terms

I live in Kansas and play some in Oklahoma in tournaments,

and I have never heard them, except for two-fer, which is
usually used to refer when 2 balls are made on 1 shot in 3 ball.

Cross-side or Back-across for a side bank usually.

I don't know. It must be an IU thing. Cause I was born and raised in Indiana, and I've never heard any of those sayings.

Live there too and haven't heard those. Maybe I'm not hanging out in the best pool rooms where this type of slang is spoken.

Man I use those terms all the time.

Maybe you are the one that started using those terms (SLANG) first, and hopefully you will be the last one to use them.
It really does not help us pool players look good.
Think about it (BUTTCRACK) :( Get real! Pool already has enough slang. Why add to it.
