A picture worth a thousand words

You must have bought a log of snakewood,really like the segmented snake Handle!!. I must ask how come I don't see Brazilian Rosewood, Pink Ivory, More Ebony fronts ?? I can tell you like the hit and feel of Purple heart too. I now see why you have so many cues in the avatar- you have been a busy man for a long time. And I can imagine all the wood blocks ,rings, tools,finish,wrap linens that go with the really really nice wood! This fits you(just do it!!) mark

I guess the fishing has not been good lately. Bad weather keeps you in the shop. Not a bad thing by the looks of the cues. I'll be down to see you and Willee next month. Hope fishing picks up by then.

To Datum cue : the ring dies are the NUTZ !!! You can see the results in some of the pics . In the long run , worth the price . I humbly say a big THANX for the kind words , guys , yes a lot of work and swollen ankles with sore knees for my effort . This batch of lumber is choice wood . I 've assembled 6 more to add to the line , with a snakewood handle with ebony front and butt plate . the Butt plate has snakewood indexed in four slots about .500 " wide with a wood veneer border . also a snakewood forearm & butt plate -w- tiger maple handle , indexed with snakewood in 4 slots length of the handle -w- black veneer border , they look cool ... pics later ...Thanx again for the kind words , guys ...:cool:
