Sweet collection you have there.
The Scruggs quartet rocks! :thumbup:
That Mason and Gilbert are super sweet. I like the Scruggs you got as well 
The top Scruggs with the leather wrap. Thats my favorite! Now, is that
a Tim half spliced forearm, or is that a full spliced by someone else? I
swear that looks like a John Davis full spliced blank to me. Was it maybe
a conversion, or am I just an idiot?...........Or both?..........:thumbup:

Actually it's a Tim Scruggs Trio with a Dave Bollman Sneaky on the far left (it's the plain plain one with no markings) It plays like a champ too

Yep sure is, one of his first cues with those type rings according to him. Has a very nice hit and tone, but I'm partial to my Sugartrees more

From what I got on my last talk with Mike Cochran he didn't mention that it was a conversion, then again I don't think I asked him either. Now I'm curious, I see what I come up with and get back to you with an answer. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for the extra pics. The closeups make it much easier to see that
it can and probably is a half splice forearm from Tim. Those outer veneers
are very close together at the top of the wrap, and from the farther away
pictures to me they looked like they touched. Thats the only reason I
brought it up in the first place. Thanks again for sharing that great
collection of yours.

Thanks! I love a good player, I have a preference to players rather than fancy cues, the 2 Arnot's are my 2 oldest cues. They are probably my fanciest cues. 1 of my Sugartrees was traded so that someone else could experience what a Sugartree is capable of
I haven't even chalked the Gilbert and I don't think I plan to...Thanks for all the comments guys!
