Collection

Very nice collection! Thanks for taking the time to share them. What is the Bushka style cue second from the left?

The top Scruggs with the leather wrap. Thats my favorite! Now, is that
a Tim half spliced forearm, or is that a full spliced by someone else? I
swear that looks like a John Davis full spliced blank to me. Was it maybe
a conversion, or am I just an idiot?...........Or both?..........

Gilbert

Very nice collection! Thanks for taking the time to share them. What is the Bushka style cue second from the left?

It's a Gilbert that I recently aqquired, I have a Ebony Buss Bushka style too, need to take pictures of that one lol

MasonH

Is the wrapless a masonH? I like that one the best.

Yep sure is, one of his first cues with those type rings according to him. Has a very nice hit and tone, but I'm partial to my Sugartrees more :D I'm spoiled I guess

From what I got on my last talk with Mike Cochran he didn't mention that it was a conversion, then again I don't think I asked him either. Now I'm curious, I see what I come up with and get back to you with an answer. Thanks for asking!

Here's better pictures of the Scruggs player and also some pics of 1 of my Sugartrees:

This is a great Collection Dude .... but where is all the Sugar :scratchhead:

Best Berny

It's hiding, it misses it's Tar sister :) I'm waiting till I get my new one from Eric, I'm going to take a pic of my Sugar family together. I do wish I could get the TAR from you though, I would be smiling for a long time if I did :)

Best,

Joseph

Thanks for the extra pics. The closeups make it much easier to see that
it can and probably is a half splice forearm from Tim. Those outer veneers
are very close together at the top of the wrap, and from the farther away
pictures to me they looked like they touched. Thats the only reason I
brought it up in the first place. Thanks again for sharing that great
collection of yours.

Ditto! very good collection of "players" and just "good cues". Thanks for posting, Paul and Lu.

Thanks! I love a good player, I have a preference to players rather than fancy cues, the 2 Arnot's are my 2 oldest cues. They are probably my fanciest cues. 1 of my Sugartrees was traded so that someone else could experience what a Sugartree is capable of :) I haven't even chalked the Gilbert and I don't think I plan to...

Thanks for all the comments guys!
