I have not brainwashed myself into seeing something that is not there. What I am speaking of is obvious across the board among professional players.

Pros do NOT line up visually and move directly in a straight line with their eyes to their shot lines.

What do pros do ? Do they see the cut angle accurately w/o the need to walk into the shot with their eyes on the line ? I can believe they don't need to do that because of their experience. Me, I am just a novice and visually lining up in a straight line helps.

Yes, you are correct, the pros play from an offset. This also means they move left or right to CCB.

This goes a lot deeper than experience and that it's just handy to do it that way.
