my 10 yearold son made me rewrap a old piece of crap cue and put a new tip on it.the kind of cue that should never be made.u guys have seen them with rammin wood shafts.but, he practically begs me to do it so i had to.now hes showing everyone it because i had him help do the work.i told him this cue doesnt leave the house.i can see it now, this is a cue my dad made for me.with a big smile on his face.and my reputation down the toilet.lol that kid kills me.

And all the while he will think he is helping you advertise. :)

It's moments like that though, you'll cherish forever. The stick may not have been worth doing the work, but the pride he has in his father, and the time you spent with him doing it, is priceless. They grow up way to fast, so enjoy the moments when they're there. My son is now 21, and it seems like yesterday he was just a tad taller than the rail on a 9 ft. table at the local pool hall, on a Sunday afternoon. Now he's taller than me, and is on my 9-ball team on thursdays. Time flies too fast.....

just his way of relating to daddy. glad you did it. im sure he was a happy boy. as for your rep dont worry you can always say he helped

blessed moments

my son is also 10 and cherishes the cue that i made him,he also has silly request, and i do the most of them, because of the importance to him.anyone who does not understand that needs to go home to mommy.

Send it to me. I'll give it the respect it deserves. If it hadn't been for me wanting a yellow cue with no wood grain, we wouldn't have bought a (cheap) cue, sanded it down, painted it, etc., so I could be happy. (I have a wonderful husband!) Just from that little experience, he followed the act with joint protectors and then, the desire to become a real cuemaker. And my cheap, yellow cue is to blame for all of it! It is still here and always will be, as a highly valued item in this house.
