Ok, I had alot of people that requested me to post some pictures of my sons 8th Birthday party.
We had his party at All American Billiards here in Muskogee. We rented 3 time tables, gave each child (25 of them) 4.00 worth of quarters to play games as well. We provided Chili dogs, chips, drinks for all the kids, and cake and ice cream for everyone that was at the pool hall regardless if they was with us or not. My son got alot of nice gifts from all his friends and our family..he is alot luckier than I was at that age for sure. He got a Athena 2 piece pool cue, a electric r/c Losi mini-desert truck, 5 Wii games, clothes, 130.00 cash and 60.00 wal mart gift cards. We were going to try and hold a small tournament for all the kids, but it just didnt work out that way. I also bought 2 Athena 2 piece cues for what was going to be the 1st and 2nd place players......so what we ended up doing was I gave each child a ticket, and I drew tickets for the 2 cues.
All in all this was a great day with the kids. I showed them how to play the best I could, but at that age, some just cant grasp it...but it was fun anyways..
Every kid and parent that was there was just amazed at how much fun this was and hopefully there will be some kids that take up this great sport we have.
Here is a cpl pictures of the party..I didnt get as many as I wanted..but they had me running all over the place..you guys can follow the link to my photobucket album to see more pictures.....I will also be posting the video on my youtube page tomorrow
