Souqet trails 7-2, and I really think it's almost impossible for him to come back and win this match. The only way is if Alcano crumbles, but I don't see that happening. With alternate breaks and the wing ball dead with the soft break, Ralf needs lightning to strike like 5 innings in a row to have a chance. I think Alcano is gonna win the WPC by a large margin, maybe like 17-8 or something.

I also have to mention that Alcano is just a magnificent player. He is more impressive than Manalo. Supposedly for the money, Manalo doesn't hold a candle to Orcullo and Alcano. I was shocked when I was told this by my Filipino friend who knows these guys well.

Alternate breaks SUCK!!!!

You just jinxed Alcano.

i was just going to post the same thing, i cant see it happening for souquet.

Alcano is playing fantastic and he's getting all the rolls. Ralf is playing very tentative and really struggling. I have know Ralf to come back from huge deficits and I hope this is one of those times but a lot has to happen for that to happen. Ronnie is absolutely dialed in right now.

And his soft break is unbeatable. If he doesn't get a good out the balls are usually clustered enough to play a great safety.

12-5 with Ronnie breaking.

I have to give credit to Ronnie, he is playing great pool.

But this format is garbage. There should be rules against the soft break. Ronnie is almost getting near-identical racks with his break. I have watched 5 matches on TVU, and I have yet to see a dry break on any table. If the table was breaking tough, then I could see some merit in the soft break. But the balls are absoloutely 100% to fall on the break, and they are rolling identically. Ronnie is not playing 9-ball, he's playing 8ball and 7ball rotation. It's not even fun to watch, it's like a lopsided massacre.
