Well,

I woke up this morning hoping to watch some live pool from the Predator World 10 Ball in Spain. However with their weather issues it was not possible, So I still had to wet my appetite for watching pool. I found this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9w-m_URCYs&feature=player_embedded#

( It is in 7 parts totaling 45 mins or so and has German Commentary but great quality)

I believe it is from the Predator tournament in vegas last year.

Anyway it is Ralf Souquet vs. Alex Pagulayan

I'm not sure how Accu Stats scores their percentages, but IMO both players were 1.000.

Perfect Pool.

Thanks to Snookeram (whoever that is) for a great library of pool on you tube.

Enjoy,

Dave

Not trying to take anything away from the intent of your thread (Thanks for the link!), but the very first shot was a scratch. That would count against a perfect TPA right?

Alex just scratched on the break in the first rack. The cueball got kicked in by an object ball, so it was not really his fault, but it does prevent him from shooting 1.000 according to the Accu-Stats scoring system.

I love watching Souquet play. His mechanics are incredible....great composure and calm. He makes it look easy. Thanks for the link.

That is kinda the point of thread.

In my Opinion this is perfect pool,

The arguements would be......

-The scratch on the break after he perfectly squats the cue in the center of the table and then gets kicked in.

- The fact the Ralf has to play a intentional foul to get out of a safe, an in doing so ties up the 5 ball.

- There is one dry break (A dry break in 10 ball shouldn't go against you)

Just my opinion but either way some of the best pool I have ever seen played.

He didn't perfectly squat the cueball in the center of the table on the break--it was headed toward the opposite corner pocket when it was kicked in.

In any case, there's almost always going to be some luck involved in shooting a perfect TPA in a long set, even if it's just getting lucky enough not to have your cueball kicked in during the break.

Ok he didn't "perfectly squat" the ball however it also wasn't going end up anywhere near the corner pocket. I bet if you asked Alex if he would take that kind of cue ball action(pre kick of course) off his break everytime he would be happy.
