South West Custom Cue for sale

South West original custom cue for sale. The butt is maple and ebony. 2 original shafts are included. Engraved on the pin is the trademark South West cactus, "93" indicating the year the cue was made as well as the number "424," the official number of the cue. This 19.5oz hand-made cuestick with bird's eye maple forearm and 6 exquisitely inlayed ebony points highlighted by a red veneer will be a great addition to anyone's collection. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures and will happily take some better ones upon request. This cue is offered locally and auction could be ended early if I see it listed on any other auctions. Thank you. Good luck and happy bidding!

Both shafts are 13mm. Each shaft has a very, very slight woble as expected in a cue this age. Of course, it doesn't affect play in the slightest bit.

This cue has been played, but has been resting without hitting a ball for the last decade. With too many cues it's about time it found a new homewhere someone will both use and enjoy it.

"This cue is offered locally and auction could be ended early if I see it listed on any other auctions. Thank you. Good luck and happy bidding!"

So does this mean it's on ebay or something? And why would your auction be listed on another auction? Further, if such were the case, why would you end your auction early as opposed to reporting/halting this alleged second auction? None of this makes any sense...

Good questions!!!

This cue belongs to a local, top level NYC player named Jesse Rice. He tried for 2 days to open an AZ account, but never received his registration email from the mods. He asked if he could list the cue here with my acct.

Anyway, the cue is listed on eBay with a 2k starting price. That listing was SUPPOSED to read that the cue would also be available locally which could result in that auction ending early should a buyer be found in the poolroom or on here.

Furthermore, this ad is not supposed to bean auction, more like "the first acceptable offer within the known ranges of franklin SW cues". This means that if you know what they sell for, and you make a reasonable offer within those parameters, he'd sell the cue.

Hope that answers your concerns, but if not, feel free to ask something again and we will flour best to satisfy your inquiries.

Randy
