Butt/forearm: 15.35 oz. Nicely figured BEM forearm, 3 high & 3 low Pau Ferro points with two veneers (black & natural). Linen wrap with brown specs. Pau Ferro butt sleeve, thick BEM maple ring bordered with the traditional SW rings. "Cactus" joint pin numbered 96 414. Nice reddish-brown phenolic butt cap and joint collars.
Shaft 1: Original South West, 12mm, 3.68 oz., Ivory ferrule
Shaft 2: Original South West, 12.9mm, 4.0 oz., Ivory ferrule
Shaft 3: Saito shaft, with matching South West ringwork, 12.9mm, 3.98 oz., Phenolic ferrule. I don't know who "Saito" is, or was, but the shaft is very well made, with matching rings, and plays just fine.

The smaller shaft has been the most used, and the other 2 are relatively fresh.

This cue is in super condition, especially considering its age, so it does have a few tiny imperfections here & there that you can't really see, but they can be felt if you run your hand over the cue. A couple of very small mars on the butt sleeve, which you can see in one of the photos. These imperfections are very few, and very minor, but I mention them as full disclosure.

This cue is straight with all 3 shafts, and plays as solid as any South West. The balance point depends on the shaft, from 18 3/8 to 18 3/4 from end of butt (not counting bumper).

Sunday morning greetings for a pretty South West under 20 OZ.!
It's cold and raining in Fort Worth today...somebody please cheer me up and make this cue your own!

BEAUTY!!!! Bump for one fine piece of lumber.

Auburn Vs. Oregon.... I don't really care but I will second that.... best friend is a Auburn fan and I love to piss him off. :)

Yep. Great game...the better team won. Pretty cue, but I just can't bring myself to play with a cue that $pendy. Besides, I dunno that it would make me shoot any better than I shoot with my Josey...;)

Ivory ferrules are very rare in a SW,Laurie doesn't like to use it!$2700 is a smoking deal for a Franklin with 3 shafts, and PWD you'll burn your Josey if you try this cue!LOL:grin:

Happy New Year! Let's try this again... '96 South West

Well, it did not sell on the first attempt in 2011, but it turned out OK, and we made it through the financial crisis anyway! :-)
But now I have a few other things I want to pursue, so I'm going to give it another shot.
Same great cue, same great price! Who wants to take this beautiful SW home today?
