I have one. A Purple Heart/Ebony/Ivory with a built-in extension. It has a great hit, but it's a little heavy for me (about 20.5 oz) so I don't play with it. It's a beautiful, well made cue. It has a lot of Ivory in it.
Shannon Daulton as of the 2005 DCC, is sponsored by SE cues and plays with one.
The one Shannon plays with and one like it for sale at the DCC is up for sale for $50,000.00. Now I asked what makes this cue worth $50K, but the response was less enthusiastic...Beautiful looking cue, but $50K?
I did not like any of the ones i have hit with. They are low quality CNC cues turned out very quickly and made with low quality shaft wood.I heard stories about the integrity of the cuemaker being suspect as well.
