With the backup plan now implemented, will this still be a 3 day event or will be it be shortened to 2 days? Also will signups be accepted up to the day of the tournament?? Thanks for answering my questions in advance!

Last night at league a couple of friends were talking about this tournament but didn't know any of the logistics, so I told them I would get online today and find out what was up and pass on the info. So, I'm looking for those answers, as well.

Logistics?

Not sure what you mean with logistics? If that means any of the following, I will try to have answers sometime this morning:

1. Is the deadline going to be extended and will signups be allowed up to the start of the tournament?

2. Is this going to remain a 3 day event (My guess is yes)

Trying to get a mapquest or google map link (If I can get it to work)

Yes, this is what I'm mostly interested in, because if the deadline is still tomorrow, I need to tell my friends to get the ball rolling. :)

Steve,

I have a few guys that would like to go but won't know if they will be able to make it until this Sunday. They were pretty bummed since the deadline is tomorrow, but after reading your post about the possibility of accepting entries up until the start of the tournament, they have new life!! LOL. Can you let us know more about that, if that is a possibility?? Thanks.

I'll do my best to get you an answer today or ASAP

I'm not the TD, but if I was I would take entries up until I start doing the brackets. At that point I would cut it off...but that's just me ;)

Thanks. If the entries are taken all the way up to start time, I might have to make a cameo down there to play.

a cameo huh...glad to see this tournament warrants an apperance

Clarification

Per the TD, here are the question answers:

1) No signing up at the door; extensions will be on a individual base.

2) It will remain a 3 day event

If you cannot meet tomorrows postmark deadline call the phone number listed on the flyer on page one.

DO NOT CALL THE GREEN ROOM

Thanks

If the tournament is moved to the Green Room, which at this point seems to be the most likely, can you provide this information if possible.

1. How many tables are available for use.
2. Cost per game.
3. Room to play around tables, such as any tight playing obstacles.
4. Area around the Green Room. (safe area)
5. Hotels close too Green Room.

Sorry about the questions, but I don't like playing in rooms where you have sit on another table or move furniture too shoot. Also, my wife is coming so I'm concerned about the area.

Thanks,

2. $1.00 per game
3. very nice room and it's roomy
4. The area is very safe. Middle class neighborhood and close proximity to the mall and numerous strip shopping centers. (close to the hospital too!)
5. You will need to Google the hotels.

Ray

ps. the reason for early entries was so Ric could determine whether or not to bring tables in. Now what's the reason?

2. $1 per game which use gold dollar coins that can be purchased from the Green Room on site

3. No obtacles that I saw, plenty of room

4. Safety? There's no gang bangers hanging in the parking lot if that's what you mean

Thats why I was curious if they would extend the entry fee deadline, only made sense since its not like they're going to be bringing in more tables. You'd think they'd at least take entries til the day before to try to get more people. Oh well, I'll pass on the info to my friends.
